Motorists should be advised of several changes occurring in the upcoming weeks.
The westbound ramp to Loudoun County Parkway will open on or about August 16th. Traffic heading south on Loudoun County Parkway can cease using the detour through University Center.
The eastbound ramp to Route 7 will open on the week of August 23rd making the interchange fully operational.
Finally, the Route 7 intersection at George Washington Boulevard and Richfield Way will be permanently closed on the week of August 30th and the signal will be removed. All traffic in University Center or along Russell Branch Parkway will use the new interchange to access Route 7.
