The permanent closure of the eastern Smith Circle at Route 7 is scheduled to occur on or about September 21. The closure will allow for installation of an acceleration lane from the ramp of Route 607 to Westbound Route 7. A cul-de-sac will be constructed on Smith Circle to allow for turnarounds. An emergency access road will also be built for first responders.
